Riassunto
Quando i campi gravitazionali diventano molto intensi, cosicché la velocità di fuga √2GM/R si avvicina alla velocità della luce c, la teoria della gravitazione newtoniana deve essere modificata per adattarsi al limite relativistico. In questo capitolo ne descriveremo i principali concetti da utilizzare nei problemi del presente corso. Una trattazione approfondita si può trovare nei testi classici di Weinberg [1] e di Misner, Thorne e Wheeler [2].
