Abstract
To spectroscopically study the origin of the Galactic X-ray background emission, or so-called Galactic Ridge X-ray Emission (GRXE), we analyzed individual X-ray spectra of 17 nearby Intermediate Polars (IPs) observed with the Suzaku satellite. This is because IPs are thought to be a major contributor to the GRXE in the hard X-ray energy band.
