Zusammenfassung

Seit dem Beginn der Reformen Anfang der 1980er Jahre hat die vietnamesische Wirtschaft starke Entwicklungsschritte zu verzeichnen gehabt.Besonders bis Mitte der 2000er Jahre konnte Vietnam hohe Wachstumsraten erzielen. Diese Dynamik hat durch die globale Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise zwar einen Einbruch erfahren, dennoch konnte sich die Wirtschaft weitgehend stabilisieren. Die politischen Reformbestrebungen, sowie der sozioökonomische Rahmen der Bevölkerung hinkt jedoch weiter hinter der makroökonomischen Entwicklung hinterher.
