Zusammenfassung
Der Begriff Phakomatose wurde von de Hoeve (1921) für zwei neuroektodermale Leiden, den Morbus Recklinghausen und das Bourneville-Syndrom, vorgeschlagen. Später hat man auch noch das Hippel-Lindau-Syndrom, das Sturge-Weber-Syndrom und als 5. Phakomatose das Basalzellnaevus-Syndrom hinzugezählt. Auch das Louis-Bar-Syndrom gehört mit Einschränkungen zu diesem Formenkreis.
