Abstract
Painting, drawing and writing play an important role in the everyday life of children. Writing is especially needed for success in school life and so, as an activity of daily life, it is an important factor in the occupational therapy (OT) intervention. As the typical development plays a part in the assessment of this ability, it is summarised here.
