Zusammenfassung

Im Zuge der Globalisierung wuchs weltweit die Bedeutung so genannter Sonderwirtschaftszonen (Special Economic Zone, SEZ). Dies gilt in besonderem Maße für die VR China, wo SEZ ein weithin sichtbares Zeichen der Modernisierung der chinesischen Wirtschaft und der Umstellung von einer zentralistischen Plan- zu einer sozialistischen Marktwirtschaft sind.
