Die im Wesentlichen auf Reformen König Chulalongkorns (König Rama V) zurückgehende Gestaltung des thailändischen Civil and Commercial Code, nachfolgend kurz CCC genannt, wurde sowohl von dem kontinentaleuropäischen (codified system) als auch dem angelsächsischen (common law system) Rechtskreis geprägt.
