Abstract

An organization ready to implement organizational innovation communities might not be aware in detail of the role that different forms of organizational integration play in community members’ innovation activities and resulting innovation outcomes. An organization that has already implemented organizational innovation communities might recognize that the existing integration of the community does not always lead to the intended results. Therefore, organizations need to learn about possible transition strategies, which allow the anchoring of organizational innovation communities in their preferred way.
