Abstract

One year ago an 18-year-old woman was treated for an alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) of the right maxillary sinus which presented with unilateral proptosis and severe facial swelling associated with complete opacification of unilateral sinuses and the sphenoid. Bilateral adenopathy was palpated. A rapid complete remission was obtained after multiagent chemotherapy and then 5000 cGy was delivered to the primary and neck.
