Zusammenfassung

Gegenüber den beiden noch wichtigeren Gelenkabschnitten tritt der Schaftbereich des Oberschenkels für den Arzt an Bedeutung zurück. Vorwiegend sind es Unfallfolgen, die den Arzt zum Eingreifen zwingen: Frische und deform geheilte Brüche oder extraartikulär, durch Adhärenz der Streckmuskulatur bedingte Kniegelenkkontrakturen.
