Zusammenfassung

Laserchirurgische Eingriffe im Kopf- und Halsbereich können in Lokal- oder Allgemeinanästhesie durchgeführt werden. Die Wahl des Narkoseverfahrens richtet sich nach der Erfahrung und Gewohnheit des Operateurs, nach der Lokalisation des Eingriffes und nach der körperlichen und seelischen Verfassung des Patienten. Viele der in diesem Buch beschriebenen Operationstechniken sind unter örtlicher Betäubung durchführbar. Deshalb werden in diesem Kapitel einige der wichtigsten Lokalanästhetika sowie ihre möglichen Nebenwirkungen beschrieben, die allerdings von der Laserlichteinwirkung unabhängig sind.
