Abstract
A great number of metal complexes containing monoatomic ligands such as H¯, halides, chalcogenides, N3¯, P3¯, and As3¯ are known at present. Among them metal hydride complexes have been investigated most extensively, since they are not only interesting from a structural point of view, but also important as homogeneous catalysts or intermediates in hydrogenation and other reactions of organic substrates.
