Zusammenfassung

Die Bezeichnung „Spondylolisthesis“ stammt von Kilian (1853), der eine langsame Luxation des Wirbels annahm und sie „Wirbelschiebung“ nannte. Die Wortbildung geht zurück auf das griechische τпόνδυλος = Wirbel und ὀλıςϑαíνω = ich gleite.
