Abstract
Complex hand injuries are not well defined in the literature but generally refer to severe injuries of multiple important structures that may endanger the survival or severely impair functions of the hand. The quality of the treatment may determine the further usability of the entire upper limb in daily life and work, and thus the ability to work and quality of life of the affected individual.
