Abstract

The incidence of radius and ulna shaft fractures, including all fractures of the forearm is 5; 19 % proximal radius and ulna (radial head and olecranon) and 76 % are distal radius fractures. The average annual incidence is 91 cases per 100,000 males and 196 cases per 100,000 females.
