Zusammenfassung

Im Jahr 2011 hatten 1 % der zur Geburt betreuten Schwangeren einen präkonzeptionell bekannten Diabetes (n = 6.500). Damit hat sich die Prävalenz in den letzten 10 Jahren verdoppelt. Der Anteil an Typ-2-Diabetes nimmt zu und wird auf 20–30 % geschätzt (Kleinwechter et al. 2012). Pathogenetisch induziert die mütterliche Hyperglykämie die diabetische Embryofetopathie (Abb. 10.1). Schwangerschaften bei präkonzeptionell bekannten Typ-1- und Typ-2-Diabetes bedürfen einer engen interdisziplinären Betreuung.
