Abstract
There have been numerous proposals for physical implementations of quantum walks utilizing a diverse array of solid state as well as optical schemes. Here we will present a comprehensive survey of the various implementation schemes thus far proposed, and in some cases experimentally demonstrated, grouped in accordance with the physical medium they essentially feature.
