Abstract

Efforts to achieve metaphylaxis against urinary stone formation are becoming increasingly important, in view of the growing prevalence of urinary stones, their high incidence, the lack of primary preventive measures in the face of increasing burdens resulting from consumer-oriented and performance-oriented lifestyle, and rapid increasesin the costs involved in treating urinary stones.
