Zusammenfassung

Forderungsverbriefungen werden nach der Art des Risikotransfers in die im Kapitel 3 beschriebenen Asset Backed Securities und in synthetische Instrumente differenziert. Bei synthetischen Verbriefungen erwirbt der Risikokäufer die gewünschte Risikokomponenten mit Hilfe von Kreditderivaten, so dass hier ein erstes wichtiges Einsatzfeld der im Kapitel 4 vorgestellten Kreditderivate zu nennen ist. Solche Konstruktionen werden in Abschnitt 5.1 behandelt. Kreditindizes auf Basis von Credit Default Swaps sind Inhalt des Abschnitts 5.2. In Abschnitt 5.3 werden einige Besonderheiten des deutschen Verbriefungsmarktes beschrieben.
