Zusammenfassung
Spätestens seit Maßnahmen zur Energie- oder Ressourceneinsparung für Unternehmen auch ökonomisch Vorteile bringen, weiß man, dass ethisch korrektes bzw. sozial verantwortliches und nachhaltigkeitsorientiertes Verhalten nicht im Widerspruch zu ökonomischem Erfolg stehen muss. Viele Unternehmen erhalten massiv negatives öffentliches Feedback, wenn sie sich nicht ethisch korrekt verhalten, wie diverse Skandale beweisen. Es ist legitim und ethisch korrekt, aus sozial verantwortlichem Handeln gezielt ökonomischen Nutzen zu ziehen, umso mehr, wenn Unternehmen bewusst über gesetzliche Vorgaben hinaus ethisch handeln. Denn unternehmerisch verantwortungsvolles Handeln wird nicht dadurch abgewertet, dass man es für Unternehmenszwecke positiv nutzt. Grundsätzlich gilt „Tu Gutes und rede darüber!“
