Zusammenfassung

Definition: Ein SHT ist die Folge einer Gewalteinwirkung, welche zu einer Funktionsstörung oder Verletzung des Gehirns geführt hat und mit einer Verletzung oder Prellung der Kopfschwarte, des knöchernen Schädels, der Gefäße oder der Dura verbunden ist.

Bei einer Verletzung des Schädels ohne Hirnfunktionsstörung handelt es sich um eine Schädelprellung.

Bei Verletzung der Dura mit Ausbildung einer offenen Verbindung des intraduralen Raums mit der Außenwelt besteht ein offenes SHT.
