Abstract
On 11–12 May 1995, an international conference entitled “A Critical Review of VAN – Earthquake Prediction from Seismic Electric Signals” was held in the halls of the Royal Society of London. This conference was organized jointly by the International Council of Scientific Unions (ICSU) and the Royal Society of London. Besides the representatives of these two scientific bodies, 38 scientists from nine different countries were invited and participated.
