Zusammenfassung

Mobile Dienstleistungen, sog. „Mobile Services“, haben in den letzten Jahren stark an Popularität gewonnen. Besonders im Konsumentenmarkt haben sich Applikationen auf mobilen Plattformen zu einem Massenphänomen entwickelt. Mit der wachsenden Mobilität im Arbeitsumfeld und den steigenden Einflüssen aus dem Konsumentenbereich auf das Unternehmensumfeld („Consumerization“) ist ein steigender Bedarf an mobilen Unternehmenslösungen („Mobile Enterprise Services“) festzustellen. IT-Dienstleister, die Mobile Enterprise Services in ihrem Produktportfolio haben und diese weiter ausbauen wollen, sind mit spezifischen Herausforderungen konfrontiert. Basierend auf einer Reihe von Fallstudien wurden die heterogene, sich schnell ändernde mobile Infrastruktur, hohe Sicherheitsanforderungen und die Notwendigkeit der Integration in Unternehmensinfrastruktur als Rahmenbedingungen identifiziert, die eine technologische Unsicherheit für IT-Dienstleister erzeugen. Starkes Marktwachstum und die Consumerization des Unternehmensumfelds erzeugen marktseitige Unsicherheit.
