Abstract
Medical training, based on simulators, it’s one of the most important ways, to teach surgeons, in the minimally access techniques, which need different levels or learning. It will allow to the surgeons to use the new technology and to get an appropriate surgical expertise, before applying these knowledge in patients. Fast and optimal learning, ethical and safety for patients, its application to the wide knowledge which need doctors nowadays and most economical use of the technique, are some of its features, and they are a guarantee of success for teaching programs. In this paper, we present the experience of National Minimal Access Surgery Center, at Havana, to the surgical training in minimal invasive surgery.
