Zusammenfassung
Sowohl adipöse als auch mangelernährte Patienten benötigen ein aufwändigeres anästhesiologisches Management als ein normalgewichtiger Patient. Die Adipositas ist mit einer Vielzahl von Komorbiditäten vergesellschaftet, die das Outcome der Patienten negativ beeinflussen können, ist aber per se kein Prädiktor für ein schlechteres Outcome. Anders verhält es sich mit der klinisch häufig nicht beachteten Mangelernährung, die Prädiktor eines schlechteren Patientenoutcome ist.
