Zusammenfassung
Ein Großteil der Forschung zu Commitment und Identifikation bezieht sich bisher auf die Organisation als Ganzes. Aufgrund rascher Veränderungsprozesse von Organisationen gewinnt der Fokus auf Teams und Projekte heute jedoch an Bedeutung. Commitment und Identifikation beschreiben auch die Bindung von Mitarbeitern an ein Projekt. Während beim Commitment die affektiven Aspekte im Vordergrund stehen, wird die Projektmitgliedschaft bei der Identifikation als Definitionsmerkmal der eigenen Person aufgefasst. Für die Projektarbeit, die durch komplexe, einmalige Aufgabenstellungen und unbekannte Lösungswege gekennzeichnet ist, sind ein hohes Commitment und eine starke Identifikation der Projektmitarbeiter wichtige Erfolgsfaktoren.
