Abstract
Coulomb failure assumptions. Jaeger and Cook (Fundamentals of rock mechanics. Methuen, New York, 1969) is used to evaluate the earthquake trigger, and pore pressure (Biot, J Appl Phys 12:155, 1941; 26:182, 1955; 78:91, 1956; J Geophys Res 78:4924, 1973) parts reflect the effect of reservoir which closed to the earthquake slip. Fluid flow driven pore-network crack model (Zhu and Shi, Theor Appl Fract Mech 53:9, 2010) is use to study the reservoir and earthquake. Based on the parallel CPU computation and GPU visualization technology, the relationship between the water-drainage sluice process of the Zipingpu reservoir, stress triggers and shadows of 2008 Wenchuan \(\text{ M}_{\mathrm{s}}\) 8.0 earthquake and porosity variability of Longmenshan slip zone have been analyzed and the flow-solid coupled facture mechanism of Longmenshan coseismic fault slip is obtained.
