Abstract

To really function as a successful medical presenter you should also be aware of the social environment of a medical meeting. You should know your position at the medical ladder and know how to play your role. From simple registration to asking questions in a lecture hall or being part of the invited faculty is all part of this. This social environment is analysed and discussed. If you do not understand how this works you will always be on outsider. Attending a lecture is more than sitting relaxed somewhere in the dark, there are many opportunities to be part of the session without being a speaker.
