MATLAB accepte les nombres complexes sous leur forme algébrique a +i *b ou exponentielle rho *exp (j *theta ). Les symboles i et j représentent le nombre imaginaire pur vérifiant : i2 = j2 = -1 Dans MATLAB, on peut omettre le signe produit (*) lorsqu’on entre un nombre complexe sous sa forme algébrique.
