Das Kapitel behandelt die Ätiologie und die heutzutage diskutierten multiplen molekulargenetischen Entwicklungswege des invasiven Mammakarzinoms, ausgehend von den intraepithelialen neoplastischen Vorläuferveränderungen. Speziell wird auf das Triple-negative Karzinom eingegangen.
