Abstract
We group in this chapter definitions and preliminary results about lattices and Delaunay polytopes. One of the results of Voronoi that will play a central role in our study concerns the finiteness of the number of types of Delaunay polytopes in given dimension. We give a proof of this result in Section 13.3.
