Other Kinds of Process Modeling Methods

Abstract

Process modeling plays an indispensable role in areas of information techniques and business management. Plenty of process modeling methods are developed and applied in industries. Some widely used business process modeling methods are introduced in this chapter. These methods include Event-driven Process Chain, Gantt chart, PERT, Petri net, Role Activity Diagram, GRAI method, etc. Their syntax and semantics are mentioned briefly.
