Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy

Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy (PUPPP) is a benign, extremely pruritic, inflammatory eruption of the third trimester of primigravida pregnancies, characterized by urticarial papules and plaques localized first to the abdomen [2, 27, 53]. It clears at delivery and it is the most common of the gestational dermatoses [53].
