Das folgende Kurzkapitel zeigt anhand des Designs von organischen Leuchtdioden ein Beispiel aus dem Bereich Computational Photonics auf. Es wird die Funktionsweise von organischen Leuchtdioden erläutert und das Potential dieser Anwendung für, z.B. mit einem Rechen-Grid durchführbare, Parameterstudien betont.
