Abstract
Atherosclerotic coronary artery disease and acute coronary syndromes are a leading cause of mortality and morbidity all over the world. As a result of intensive investigation over decades, a detailed understanding of the pathophysiology of these conditions has resulted in advances in their therapeutics as well as prevention.
