Abstract
Chapter 13 describes pediatric trauma. Emphasis has been placed on the discussion of growth plate injuries, which is a very common examination question, but is also of much practical interest since junior residents should learn to appreciate the emergency management of these injuries in the growing skeleton. Other important areas and common examination questions, such as supra-condylar fractures associated with borderline vascularity, will also be tackled in detail.
