Abstract

Exploration geologist will have to deal with the valuation of exploration projects without mineralization mainly in two cases:

  1. a

    to decide whether an exploration programme should be undertaken outside of a known mining camp with known grades and tonnages which are being mined economically

  2. b

    when properties without defined mineralization are offered for farm-in by prospectors or other exploration companies
