Abstract

This final chapter recapitulates the findings on the overall research question: does development aid affect conflict ripeness? In order to do so, a short summary of findings will be provided (7.1). This is followed by outlining the lessons learned and an attempt to bring the analysis onto a normative level formulating implications for policy-makers (7.2). Lastly, a critical look at the theory and analysis will be provided including addressing unresolved issues and valid objections (7.3).
