Zusammenfassung
Eines der sehr wenigen Bücher im Bereich der „Schwarzen Frauenforschung“ trägt den Titel Alle Frauen sind weiß, alle Schwarzen sind Männer, aber einige von uns sind mutig ! (Hull et al. 1982). Ich wähle diesen Titel als Ausgangspunkt für mein Vorhaben, einen kritischen Schwarzen Feminismus zu entwickeln – denn er zeigt die problematischen Konsequenzen der Tendenz, „Rasse“ und Geschlecht als sich gegenseitig ausschließende Erfahrungs- und Analysekategorien zu betrachten. Im Folgenden möchte ich untersuchen, wie diese Tendenz von einem eindimensionalen Bezugsrahmen, der im Antidiskriminierungsrecht dominiert und sich auch in der feministischen Theorie und in antirassistischer politischer Arbeit widerspiegelt, „aufrechterhalten“ wird.
Dies ist die gekürzte und redaktionell überarbeitete Fassung eines Texts, der im englischen Original unter dem Titel „Demarginalizing the Intersection of Race and Sex: A Black Feminist Critique of Antidiscrimination Doctrine, Feminist Theory, and Antiracist Politics“ in The University of Chicago Legal Forum 139 (1989) erschien.
