Abstract
Water management aspects in Republic of Moldova are discussed. The aim of the article is to review the institutional capacity for water monitoring and management of water resources in Moldova. The characteristics of water monitoring network is presented and some aspects for the improvement of existing monitoring capacity are examined. The complex character of actual water management in the Republic of Moldova is determined and the role of scientific support for the problem solving in this field is proposed.
