Abstract

To simulate and evaluate the effects of climate and land use change on the water balance in Urumqi Region, several scenarios have been used. Two climate scenarios representing the climate situation in the past have been calculated and three possible climate scenarios for the year 2050. The planned land use changes are presented in Sect. 4.3.
