Part of the book series: Mechanisms and Machine Science ((Mechan. Machine Science, volume 16))

Abstract

Service robots are under development and implementation in several fields both in already experienced areas and new applications. In this chapter problems, challenges, and solutions are discussed as related for developing a cable-based parallel system for physiotherapy applications as based on experiences at LARM in Cassino.
