Abstract
A number of metabolic conditions can cause neurological symptoms, although not all are associated with imaging findings. It is important to know what imaging findings are significant and which are incidental. In this chapter we present incidental benign findings of basal ganglia calcification as well as the more serious central pontine myelinolysis which occurs with rapid correction of hyponatremia.
