Abstract
Maurin is a designer specializing in interaction design and physical computing. He works on new textile interfaces which explore gestural, ludic and intuitive interactions. Fascinated by craft and new technologies, he strives to make technology more human. By combining textiles and electronics, he brings a new sensibility to the conception of numeric controllers. His idea is to enchance the interactive nature of computional media by incoporating gesture. Maurin graduated in industrial design from the French National School of Industrial Creation, ENSCI Les Ateliers in Paris.
