Résumé
Stimuler l’ovulation en cycle classique comprend trois étapes successives:
-
stimuler la croissance folliculaire et obtenir un à trois follicules ayant atteint leur pleine maturité;
-
déclencher l’ovulation proprement dite, assurant la rupture folliculaire et l’expulsion de l’ovocyte qui, ayant avancé dans la méïose, est devenu fécondable;
-
établir un corps jaune capable d’assurer l’implantation et le soutien initial du développement embryonnaire.
