Résumé
L’utilisation de codes de calcul permettant d’estimer les différentes grandeurs radiométriques et dosimétriques définies précédemment dans cet ouvrage est devenue incontournable. Ces derniers fonctionnent selon des méthodes de calculs numériques dont les approximations altèrent plus ou moins la valeur vraie des grandeurs recherchées. Nous avons choisi d’en détailler une en particulier, qui constitue la méthode de référence pour les simulations dans le domaine de la dosimétrie et de la radioprotection, et dont l’évocation a jalonné l’ensemble des chapitres précédents : la méthode Monte-Carlo.
