Ce chapitre traite des anomalies visuelles optiques ou amétropies*. L’amétropie est dite « axile » quand seul le système dioptrique est en jeu (figs. 1 et 2 pp. 16 et 17). Elle est dite « d’indice ou de courbure » s’il s’agit d’un changement d’état du cristallin ou de la cornée.
