Résumé
Environ 4 à 6 % des patientes atteintes d’un cancer du sein présentent des métastases au moment du diagnostic. Historiquement, la place de la chirurgie reste limitée aux situations palliatives locales soit en raison de symptômes locaux invalidants pour la patiente, soit pour assurer un contrôle local correct pendant leur période de survie.
