Résumé
Les mécanismes de la consolidation osseuse sont bien connus chez l’animal… et chez l’homme. Ils ont été parfaitement rappelés par Hannouche dans sa conférence d’enseignement [1]. Les comprendre et les connaître permettent de traiter avec pertinence une fracture, mais permettent sans doute de mieux réagir quand la fracture ne consolide pas. Si une fracture ne consolide pas, c’est qu’il existe des facteurs locaux ou généraux, dans les deux cas biologiques ou mécaniques, où l’humain soigné ou soignant sera toujours impliqué, voire en cause dans le processus de non-consolidation.
