  • 1350 Accesses

Abstract

When asked to write about Barlow mitral valve, some degree of unease and discomfort may rapidly rise. During the preparation phase when one thinks about the content and tries to organize it logically, one may be hit by a simple and iconoclastic question. What is a “Barlow mitral valve”? What does it mean? What is the most precise definition of the word?
